Watery waves

A lilting, moving picture of the waters of the lake, the image brings out an immediate reaction of happiness even in the most cynical observer. Of course, God help him if he's too pessimistic.

The vibrant, animated nature of the sea instills an image of change in the observer. The gentle waves make a calm and soothing impression.

The single unbroken expanse of the sea and the playful interweaving of light and shadows on the waves help bring out the amazing textures !

                               

So very typical

Barely stated, in this picture, you can see a carrier truck moving on a road next to a hill covered by shrubs and trees.

The road itself is unremarkable, being an example of most roads in our country, partially cemented and covered in mud and garbage. The whole picture is somewhat bleak, showing the lax standards maintained on roads even at a little distance from the city !

                                               

They need company too !

A cheerful picture of trees standing tall in a garden in lonavla, the lush greenery and insiduous creepers are a welcome site to we city dwellers.

On closer inspection, you'll find that the branches and the stems of the trees intertwine.

It reminds me of the fact that, although distant, everyone needs some support, some steady constant in life. The peaceful imade of tall trees, standing high but still close, may be a metaphor of a life well spent, staying rooted firmly to the Earth, yet facing the world with dignity !
